100th Day Fun!

We have been in Kindergarten for 100 days! Time has truly gone so quickly, and we have learned so much! We celebrated in a big way on our 100th day. Here is some of the fun.....

First up we made Froot Loop necklaces with - you guessed - 100 pieces! We counted them out on a chart and then began stringing them!

Later we used q-tips and made "gumball machines" to get to 100 by 10s!

Sorting our collections from home into groups of 10!

Doing a "gallery walk" and looking at everyone's collections!

Perhaps their most favorite part of the day was going on a hunt for 100 numbered Hershey's Kisses! They found them all and placed them where they went on the hundreds chart!

Then, we did some math to figure out how many we could each have to make it an even share!  The answer was 4!

Our 100th day hats were a blast to make, and I just love this picture! Smiling faces and so much fun!

Thank you for participating by helping your child find things to bring in! We had a blast!
