Spring Fun!

We had a fantastic first week back from Spring Break! We even enjoyed some nice weather AND..... we played in the sandbox!!! This was a huge hit! Here is a recess picture overload.....   :)

We also learned some new math games in Math Workshop! We are working hard on addition strategies, and starting to learn strategies for subtraction! Look at these mathematicians at work!

We are starting a new inquiry unit on forces and motion! We kicked off the unit by working in groups to discuss and sort pictures of objects or people in motion. I love hearing their conversations, and working together as a group is a challenging but so important skill for us! 

What a fun, busy week! We hope for some more good weather this week too!
