100th Day Fun!

We had a BLAST on the 100th day of school! We celebrated this day on Friday with a full day packed with all things 100! When the kinders came in, the entered through streamers, which got them excited and in the party mood!

Then we hunted around the room for 100 hershey's kisses! They were all numbered on the bottom. Once they found one, they got in line to put it on the 100's chart! All those little hands by faces are because they are sniffing the chocolate through the wrapper - ha!   :)

We did a fun activity - "How many times can you write your name in 100 seconds?"

We then did sentence cut/pastes and printing practice about the 100th day!

We like to use both rooms when we do projects with lots of supplies and pieces - gives us a lot more space!   :)

Before lunch we made fruit loop necklaces! They first had to put their 100 fruit loops on a mat, then put them on the string (which is taped to the table) then they could wear them!

After lunch we broke up into small groups and rotated through 5 different stations. We used q-tips to put "gumballs" into gumball machines in groups of 10.

We made 100th Day crowns to wear!

We played a game with a hundreds chart and a bingo daubber (those things are fun!)

We spread out our collections and sorted them into groups!

We stamped 10 stamps on each page in a book to make 100!

We loved the 100th Day!!! Here is our best silly face    :)

In addition to our celebration, I wanted to share real quick our Abraham Lincoln drawings! The kinders are very proud of them, so stop by to see them if you haven't yet! They loved doing this! They asked if we could do George Washington too, so we just may do that next week if we get a chance!

Looking forward to another great week! The LAST week in February already, can you believe it?
